I’m indebted to the Encyclopedia of Cooking by Woman’s Day, Susan Short for her wonderful Bundt cake recipes, The Los Angeles Times. the Las Vegas Review Journal, Parade Magazine, the Pasadena Star-News, my great friends in NAWIC, my mother-in-law Inange for her Filipino recipes, my friends on Saipan and Guam who willingly gave me wonderful Chamorro recipes, my neighbor Aki, who introduced me to Japanese cuisine, and all my neighbors who lured me to their homes with tantalizing aromas.  I’m so fortunate to have acquired favorite recipes for family members, as well as from professional chefs.
